# Playkora > Playkora (https://playkora.com) is a free discovery platform for independent games on any platform — PC, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS, VR, console and browser. Developers publish a page for their game; the page describes the game and links players to wherever it can be played or bought. ## What Playkora is Playkora is primarily a **discovery and growth tool for game developers**. A developer publishes one page for their game, and that page is built to be found: server-rendered HTML, structured data, a written FAQ, and links out to every place the game is actually available — Steam, itch.io, Google Play, the App Store, Epic, GOG, console stores, a direct download, or the developer's own site. Alongside that, Playkora runs a **catalogue** players can browse and filter by genre, platform, tag and rating, and publishes **news** about the games and developers on the platform. Games that are built for the browser can additionally be played directly on the site, with no download and no account; games on other platforms link out instead. A game may be free, free-to-play, paid, or offer a free demo — each page states which. Playkora is not a storefront and never processes payment.
