Game discovery, built for developers

Making a game is hard.
Being found is harder.

Playkora is a free platform that gives your game a page built to be discovered. Publish once — whether your game is on Steam, an app store, itch.io, a direct download, or playable straight in the browser — and get a fast, search-optimised page that sends players to wherever your game actually lives. Players get a catalogue they can browse, filter and play from; you get the reach.

Action

The problem this solves

Most indie games are not overlooked because they are bad. They are overlooked because nobody is searching for them by name, and there is nothing for a search engine to find.

  • A store page competes with thousands of others

Inside one storefront, against everything else released that week. A social post is gone in a day, and a devlog only reaches people who already follow you.

  • People search in descriptions, not titles

“Co-op base building game for Android”. “Browser games like Vampire Survivors”. “Free puzzle game with a level editor”. Nothing you own answers those searches today.

  • AI assistants are the new front door

More people ask an assistant before they open a store. Those answers are drawn from pages with clear, structured, quotable facts — which most game listings are not.

  • Building that page properly is real work

Structured data, fast server-rendered HTML, a genuine FAQ, described screenshots and a URL that never changes. Playkora does all of it. You supply the truth about your game.

How it works

Four steps, one sitting. The template is already optimised — your job is the part only you can write.

  1. 1. Describe your game

A guided editor walks you through the title, the pitch, screenshots and a FAQ, checking as you go and telling you exactly what is still missing.

  2. 2. Say where it lives

Pick the platforms it runs on and add the links players should follow: Steam, Google Play, the App Store, itch.io, a download, or play-in-browser. Add as many as apply.

  3. 3. Publish free

A reviewer checks it, then your page goes live with structured data, a clean URL and a place in our sitemap. No fee, no revenue share, no exclusivity.

  4. 4. Get found

Your page starts competing for the searches your game should win, and joins the catalogue where players browse by platform, genre and tag.

Players filter by genre, platform and tag — and can play the browser-based games without leaving the site.

Playkora for players and for developers

For players

  • Judge a game before you commit

Real screenshots, a description written by the developer, the controls, the platforms it runs on, and where to get it.

  • Play browser games instantly

Games that run in the browser start right here, with no download. Everything else links straight to the store the developer chose.

  • No account needed

Browsing and playing are completely open. You only need an account to rate a game or leave a review.

For developers

  • Free, on any platform

Publishing is self-service and costs nothing. You keep every right to your game and grant us only what is needed to host and display the page.

  • Built to be found

Server-rendered with structured data, a fact block answer engines can quote, and a FAQ in your own words — the page you would build given a week and the SEO knowledge.

  • Real content only

The editor will not let you publish placeholder text, missing image descriptions or an empty FAQ, and will not write them for you. A slower publish, a far better page.

See what you get

What makes these pages work

  • Everything is real content

No description, image description or FAQ answer here was generated. If a developer has not written it, the page does not publish. That single rule is why these pages are worth indexing at all.

  • Fast, server-rendered HTML

Complete HTML on the first response, images as AVIF and WebP at fixed sizes, self-hosted fonts, and no tracking scripts on public pages. Speed is both a ranking factor and a courtesy.

  • Written to be quoted

Facts appear as readable text, not only as hidden markup. Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude are explicitly allowed to read and cite these pages — that is the entire point.

  • A URL that lasts

Your page keeps its address. If it ever has to change, the old one permanently redirects, so the ranking it earned follows it instead of disappearing.

Common questions

What developers and players ask most before they start.

Does my game have to be a browser game?

No. Playkora works for games on any platform — PC, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS, VR and console — as well as games that run in a browser. You choose the platforms your game supports and add links to wherever players can get it. Browser-playable games get the extra option of being played directly on the site.

What does it cost to publish a game?

Nothing. Creating an account, publishing a page and keeping it live are all free. Playkora takes no revenue share and asks for no exclusivity — we do not sell your game, so there is nothing to take a cut of.

Do I keep the rights to my game?

Yes, entirely. You grant Playkora only the permission needed to host and display your page and the media you upload. You can keep selling your game anywhere else, and you can ask for your page to be removed at any time.

How does a Playkora page actually help me get players?

It gives your game a page that search engines and AI assistants can understand and recommend: server-rendered HTML, structured data describing the game and its platforms, a quotable fact block, and a FAQ in your own words. It targets the searches your game should win, and every page links players onward to your store page or download.

Can I link to Steam, Google Play or the App Store?

Yes, and you should. Add as many links as apply — Steam, itch.io, Google Play, the App Store, Epic, GOG, console stores, a direct download or your own site. The most important one becomes the main button on your page.

Can I list a paid game?

Yes. A game can be free, free-to-play, paid, or a free demo of a paid game, and the page states which. Payment always happens on your store, never here — Playkora is a discovery page, not a storefront.

Why does publishing ask for so much information?

Because a page with real screenshots, a real description and a real FAQ is the page that gets found, and a page with placeholder text is not. The editor refuses to invent that content for you, so it asks you for it instead. Nothing publishes until it is complete.

How long until my page is live?

Submitted games go into a review queue first, which is what keeps stolen and spam submissions off the platform. Once approved, the page is live immediately and added to our sitemap so search engines can find it.

Do players need an account?

No. Browsing the catalogue and playing the browser-based games are both completely open. An account is only needed to rate a game, write a review, or publish one of your own.

What languages is Playkora available in?

Playkora is currently available in English. The platform is built to support more languages, and when they are added a page will appear in a language only where a human has written that version — we do not publish machine translations.
